Not only do I think this is the most fabulous baby class I have taken because of its uniqueness and the subject matter, but I also met a lot of interesting and fun women who I now consider friends. It is difficult to cull through the numerous classes that New York City has to offer, but this should be at the top of every mother's list. It was fun and educational for both my daughter and me - she even recognizes sculptures now! I look forward to taking more Met Mom classes!

Metropolitan Moms is the best "baby and me" class I have ever taken. The class was organized and well run every single time. There is enough staff to keep the toddlers and moms on track through the museum. The teacher was extremely interesting and could keep the toddlers and the moms engaged and involved in the class. Dara and Molly are great -- personable, friendly and approachable. We miss our class on Fridays and want to do another class in the fall!

A friend suggested we join a group - Metropolitan Moms - comprised of moms that visit art galleries, museums and points of 'art' interest in New York. It has opened up my eyes to all the art that exists around Manhattan that I never noticed. We visited dozens of 'open to the public' places, I was not aware existed, that display fabulous, contemporary and modern artwork. Their expert art guide fills each session with interesting facts about the art and artists. My Thursdays with my Metropolitan Moms group has definitely become my favorite of the week!

I don’t love kids but I loved Metropolitan Moms and their kids. It’s one of the only times I didn’t scowl and act all snarky towards mothers and their children in galleries. Motherhood is powerful…and also somehow sexy….

The Contemporary Art class has been absolutely amazing! I feel as if I get a peek into a sub-culture of NYC each week that I wouldn't otherwise have access to. My friend Anna and I love every minute of it! It is, by far, one of the best and most entertaining and educational classes I've ever taken. Thanks!

I have been in New York for the past 10 years and the Metropolitan Moms class is one of the most amazing experiences I have had here. It is a peak into the art world of New York that I am normally so removed from. I have always felt overwhelmed and a bit intimidated by the "Art Scene" but I now feel confident to visit any gallery or museum. I have a renewed love for art and have started going to galleries outside the class. It is my favorite part of the week.

My two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Hannah, and I attended the Metropolitan Moms Toddler classes at the Met, and it was the highlight of the week for both of us. Our guide had such a lovely way of engaging with the children, managing to hold their attention, encouraging them to really look at the pictures and sculptures in the museum and devising toddler-friendly art projects that related to the theme of each visit – no small feat with a group of energetic one- and two-year-olds. As we made our way week by week through the different collections, our guide also educated us about art and art history. The whole experience was a wonderful introduction to the Met, and has given me the confidence to take Hannah to other museums and galleries.

Metropolitan Moms was recommended by a friend and it was a great experience! I've since recommended the classes to other friends. The instructor was not only extremely knowledgeable, but made the class interesting and fun to learn. I've been to the Met countless times, and almost every week the instructor took me to places I never knew existed. I've also met a new, fun group of women and we continue to have playdates every week. Thanks, Metropolitan Moms!

Metropolitan Moms is a wonderful program. My son and I really enjoyed our Wednesday mornings at the Met. There is no other program out there offering the same mix of culture, education, and fun all together the way you guys do! The tour leader really made the experiences fun and educational for the kids as well as the moms.
