During this seven week series we will explore current exhibitions at galleries, museums and auction houses as well as artist studios throughout the city. Our guide, Lowell Pettit, will discuss the dynamics of the art market, the key personalities working behind the scenes and introduce you to the world of art collecting.
Lowell Pettit, our gallery guide, is an art advisor who also teaches contemporary art at Sotheby's Institute of Art. Pettit has lectured for The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Guggenheim Museum, The Museum of Modern Art, New York University, and FIT, among many others.
